The beautiful art deco lobby of the Empire State
Building is decorated for Christmas. Workers finished the foundation
for the structure in February and the final tower was placed on top in
November. From conception to completion took only a year and a
half!!!

We thought the gift shops and deck were crowded. But
according to the staff the crowds were about a fifth of their normal
summer traffic.
